Default Quad room

I did an Oceanview guarantee and have found out my room number on my docs. My question is this. I booked two different rooms, one for my husband and I and one for my four children. The rooms we ended up with both show as two uppers. I am not sure why two people would end up in a quad room. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Paula

Sometimes it's the luck of the draw with a guarantee ... we got a quad one time when we booked an interior guarantee. It will be no big deal -- the beds will either fold up onto the wall or into the ceiling.

Thanks Harry. That brings up two more questions for me. Can the lower beds in a quad room still be pushed together? Is there more floor room in a quad cabin or is the only difference the extra beds?

In our quad room the couch converted to a bed and a bunk pulled out of the ceiling. Also our beds were pushed together to make a queen bed.

Paula, I think Hockey is talking more of a balcony quad cabin than an ocean view. In a standard ocean view, both upper beds would be on the wall or in the ceiling. You can still push the bottom beds together for a queen, too.
