Me & my wife are traveling on our makeup honeymoon cruise (original one was in September got cancelled due to hurricanes). We're leaving on the Spirit on 01/12/05. We booked a Guaranteed Balcony. We received our travel docs today and the luggage tags are TBA. Cabin says Guaranteed Category BL. I read somewhere that you can tell your room number from the back of your sign & sail registration. The back shows "6H9Z657296*Blahblah" Is 7296 our room number?
I see room 7296 is on the back of the ship on the Verandah deck and is yellow in color. Does that mean its got an extended balcony?
Not sure if that will be your cabin # or not but if it is you got on heck of a nice upgrade to a cat 11 suite! TBA means 'to be announced' but your TA may be able to get the info for you as you have probably been assigned a cabin by now.

I'm no expert but our travel documents gave us the number of our cabin. Look in your sail & sign account card (uper left corner) & also your luggage tags should give the name of your deck. Hope this helps and have a wonderful honeymoon.
It appears that if you look at the back of your Sign & Sail...and the number after your booking number is your room (according to what I've read) but I'm going to have my travel agent call & verify. Whats a category 11 suite? Is that nicer then a regular balcony? Is that why its yellow on the carnival deck plans? Sorry..I'm new to all this stuff.
Hey Greg,
Hope you have a wonderful cruise and a great Honeymoon cruise ! If you are correct, and that is your room number, congrats on getting a suite ! That would be a great honeymoon present for you both. Enjoy and be spoiled !
Greg, Also check the front page of your documents. it should say Skippers Clup sonewhere on it if you were upgraded to a suite. Ours did last year on the Elation

Yes yellow designates a Cat 11 suite which is much larger than the balcony cabins and has a larger balcony. They are also sometimes reffered to as a "Demi-Suite". If this is indeed your cabin you will also be able to avail yourself to the "Skippers Club" which means you get personal check-in and boarding service and do not have to stand in any lines.

Unfortunately we're going out of San Diego and there is no skippers club in san diego according to their website. My travel agent called Carnival and said that wasn't our room number, but we're in for a very nice upgrade. So, I guess I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed.
Right Greg, San Diego does not have a Skippers Club. Sorry you didn't get the suite but hey, that would have been one fantastic upgrade if you did! Let us know where you finally end up and have a great cruise!
