Help on booking next cruise!

Hey!

I'm lookin into booking my next cruise online again. we wanna cruise aound may of 05'! ive been searching ports jacksonville, FL Charelston, SC and Norfolk, VA as they are the closest to my home, i live in NC. but i have not found any good results from those three ports, so we thought abotu bookin a cruise/flight combo..but i cant find how or where to search for cruise/flight combos, i tried traveocity.com and u can do combos on flight and hotel..but not with cruises? there has to be a way..someone please help me here. thanks.

If you book directly through Carnival, you can get a flight/cruise combination

We did the same (combo booking) years ago but have found we can save money and control our air schedule if we book our own flights on Travelocity.

You may want to book directly with Carnival and book your flights directly with the air lines...much cheaper than any service out there.

Just be careful booking your own flights. Our TA booked ours, and we almost didn't make the flight home. Book flights that depart no earlier than 3:00. Customs has no set schedule for disembarking passengers. Our flight was at 1:30, and we just made it. Their were still alot of passengers on the ship when we got off.

My first time out - I let the travel agent book all - boy have learned my lessons since then.

I go to carnival.com - look at a cruise - start clicking away and get price of cruise only and cruise + air.

When I get the air price - I go shopping for my air - I've always gotten the air cheaper. And also, I book a day ahead (just in case something goes wrong) and I book to return in the late afternoon I(plenty of time to get off the ship)
