Default Parking

My husband and I are taking our first curise 2/5/04 on the Inspiration.
What are the fees for parking? Or does anyone know of a hotel in Tampa that is close? Or will have shuttles from the airport to hotel and then from the Hotel to port so we do not have to rent a car for 6 days just to park it at the port?
And where do you purchase drink coupons? How much and how do they work?
Sorry for all the questions any help would be great, on any of the 20 questions :0) And any other help would be great.

Deena, many hotels have a free shuttle from the aiorport and some may even be able to take you to the port but even if they don't a taxi is worth it. Parking is $10 per day plus whatever you pay for the rental so it is not worth it in the least to rent a car and park it! You can purchase soft drink cards onboard at any of the bars and they are good for unlimited soft drinks for the entire cruise. For alcoholic drinks you can pre-purchase those for individual drinks from Carnival or your Traval Agent can arrange it. They do not sell unlimited alcoholic drink cards.
Make sure you have either a passport or an original Issued Birth Certificate and a photo ID such as a drivers license for boarding. Understand that tips are extra and are about $10 pp per day. You can allow them to place them on your S&S card automatically or you can remove them and tip personally in cash. Get involved in the activities and relax and have fun.

24 cruises and counting!

Chase Suites in Tampa will pick you up at the airport, take you to the hotel and the day of the cruise will take you to the port. They will also pick you up after the cruise and take you back to the airport. We used them in November with very good results. If you book with them ask for the ship to port package.
