Inspiration 2/14/05
Does anyone have any suggestions for excursions in Cozumel and Grand Cayman. Honestly I think I really just want to relax at the beach. Is it worth doing the beach excursions offered by Carnival? Or should I just go to a beach on my own? For Grand Cayman I think I am just going to take a taki to the 7 mile beach. But in Cozumel, has anyone ever done the beach excurssion offered by Cozumel? Is the place nice? Is it worth the 29 dollars? Or any other suggestions. Thanks!

Re: Inspiration 2/14/05
Jut did the beach thing in Coz over Christmas cruise. We had done Playa del Sol ( now called Playa de Mia) before. We like it. There is a line of shope you walk through first then to the beach. Scoop loungers and floating mats. An iceburg for the kids to climb on. The $29 includes all you want to drink. We got there about 10:30am and as it got afternoon it really got crowded. A couple of party boats stopped too and added to the people. But we enjoyed it as a beach day. Beware - the sand gets quite heavy to walk through after a few drinks! But there is pool there to lay around too.

Just got off Inspiration 1/3/05 ..took jeep-safari adventure to Passion Island. Do not recommend-no wildlife, no snorkeling,no fun. Last time went snorkeling at Chankanob park lagoon and highly recommend. Only $10 taxi ride and you walk right out on beach to beautiful reef. have fun.

I'm also going on the Inspiration on 02/14/05.
If you go on the carnival excursion to the beach for $29, how long do you stay at the beach? Does Carnival take you back or do you have to find your own transportation? Post Edited (01-08-05 20:03) |
