I know what you mean. I can hardly wait. I just cruise the websites everyday trying to pass the time. Where are you from. We're from New Mexico.

We are from NY. Sister and husband from Canada. I see you were on Fantasy in 2004. We were on in March, I think . I'll have to look at my sign and sail card to be sure. Any excursions planned yet.

We were on in March also. Spring Break. Took my daughter (6 then) and two neices ( 20 and 14) and my mother. We had a great time. My daughter is begging me to take her on another cruise.

Not sure if we're doing any tours. In San Juan we will probably just go to Senior Frogs. Not much time to spend there anyway. In St. Marteen we're going to go to Orient Beach, and then in St. Thomas we want to snorkel at Sapphire Beach and maybe do the Party Boat in the afternoon. Have you booked any tours? I hear that the Sunny Liston tour is really good if you want a bit of everything.... shopping, site seeing, and beach.

Teresa

We were on the 03/04/04 sailing of the Fantasy. We don't have any thing booked yet. In San Jaun probably just walk around, and end up at Senior Frogs. St. Marteen, we want to go to Maho beach to see the planes. St. Thomas, either Godfrey or Sunny Liston, I've heard very good things about both of them. IT's still a long way away, but getting closer.

Sounds like a good time for everyone. I've already started to get my Non-clothing type things together, snorkeling equipment, beach mats, etc. I have to have something to keep my mind occupied until then!!!

Let's hope that hurricane season will be kind to us!!!

Teresa,

I just made my final payment, and advised that they changed the days we go to St. Marteen, and St. Thomas. They just swapped them. If you made any excursion reservations, you'll have to change the days.

Thanks a bunch. I did book an excursion with Sunny Liston. Any reason why and are the arrival times the same or now switched also?

No, I don't know why. Probably due to other ships inport. I would imagine the times are the same, since we have to go through customs in St. Thomas.

I phoned Carnival yesterday and was told that the ports have NOT changed. You might want to check again. Hopefully they don't have your reservations mixed up with someone elses. There is another ship that does the reverse agenda (I believe she said the Triumph.)

UPDATE - Here's the latest that I posted on another thread titled "Victory flip flopped two ports"

I have a private excursion booked, so that part makes a difference to me, but nothing else. I just phoned them again, and was first told it wasn't true, but when I pressed her, she spoke with someone else and came back to tell me it was true. Times are still the same. I asked why the change and was told to allow the best experience in each port.

So, with only the dates changing, what would make each port experience better?

Makes no sense to me!!!!

That's a lousy excuse. My travel agaent showed me the memo. It's for all Victory Eastern Caribbean cruises, starting I think in June going through October. I can only guess, that soemhow it's to save them money somewhere. No big deal to me. We'll still be on a cruise, and not at work, so that's a good thing.

The good part of the story is, we don't have to do customs/immigration in St. Thomas now because San Juan is a US port as well as St. Thomas.

That's a really good point. But we will have to go through customs in Miami when we get back. Since St. Marteen will be our last stop now.

I'd rather do it in Miami. I want to spend as much time at the beach as possible
