Carnival Web, Inside Guarantee

We have been looking to sail the new Valor through Carnival's web site. Has anyone noticed that you can't book an on-line inside guarantee, (on their site, on ANY ship)?

If you search the site, and choose this option, the response is "this selection and category is NOT available." However, if you call their telephone booking # the staterooms are in abundance, and available, and at quoted internet price. Is this a way to squeeze our wallets for a paid upgrade, or is it a 4 month error as reported by telephone agent Terry Rodriguez?

Your experience?

Also... We did not have this problem prior to the new web site.

I tried different internet sites to looking to book a gtd balcony. Got the same reponse you did "this selection and category is NOT available."

I had the same problem. The gty rooms were available everywhere but Carnival's web site. Maybe they lock those out so TA's can book them first. ??

I just booked an inside guarantee from an online travel agency. That type of room did show up on there website but, I did encounter a few sites that didn't list them at all. Don't know why some have it and some don't.
