inspiration and rocking!

Hi- I heard some reviews saying that they could feal the inspiration rocking a lot as it moves. Is this true? Will I get sea sick? I am on the Riviera deck. Is it worse off the lower you are? Also, anyone who has ever been on the inspiration, what can i expect? I leave next month. Thanks

We were on the Inspiration in Feb.The only time we felt movement was when we were passing a pretty big storm. At night that night was the only time through the whole cruise that I felt a little sick. But the rest of the time it was wonderful ..You should be ok take bonine just in case....Have fun ..

mmes4,

I am booked on the Inspiration next month also. What date are you sailing? I sail on the 19th.

All the ships are pretty stable and they do have stabilizers, (little underwater wings), that they deploy when at sea to further stabilize the ship. You ARE on a boat and they do rock. This can range from barely noticable to pretty gtood rocking depending on the weather. If you start to feel queezy simply go to the pursers desk and ask for some Mezcline which they will be happy to provide you. The lower and more central you are on the ship, the less rocking you will feel.

I was on the Inspiration on the Riviera deck in April 2004. I felt little to no motion at all. Having said that, we did have very smooth seas. I would bring Bonine with you just in case.
