Default Soft Drinks

My sisters boyfriend drinks a ton of Diet Pepsi and they were wondering if like they used to have a soda card for kids that you purchased and then all your drinks were taken care of?? Does anyone know of any way to do this for adults???? Thanks in advance...

Anyone can purchase a soda card. You don't have to be a child in order to get a soda card. My friend purchased one on her cruise several years ago. I think they are about $35.

The soda cards came to about $40 for us. We were on Triumph in October of 04. I too was an addict of Diet Pepsi, had I known that they only have Coke products, I wouldn't have gotten it. Also, they use canned soda that isn't chilled, so when you get it on ice, it is a bit watered down, and flat. Not a big deal to those in dire need of a soda.... it's also kinda hard to drink $40 worth a soda in one week, but I tried my best. I ended up drinking a lot of ginger ale, not many drink it, so I always got a fresh can!! Good Luck, it's worth it if he can drink Diet Coke instead of Diet Pepsi.

Just a thought. On our last two cruises, we carried a 12-pack of diet soda in our luggage. Was not a problem.

It is listed in the booklet Carnival sends with your docs, that a limited amount of soft drinks brought on board is OK.

We plan to do that again in May.
