Will I be able to see the game?

I should have known last October when I booked my first cruise on the Sensation from 1/20 to 1/24 that the New England Patriots would be playing in the AFC Championship game while I was away. Will I be able to see the game while on the ship?

Thanks,
Steve Brown

I cruised during the Super Bowl game a few years ago and they showed it in the main auditorium. I would think that if it's not playing there, then you'll definately be able to find the game on TV in the "sports" bars.

Have fun.

The TVs in the staterooms on Victory carried all of the major networks. No reason why you shouldn't be able to watch the game. And I agree with above poster - surely they'll be showing it in the sports bar.

On the Imagination they had all major networks on the TV, they also have a big screen tv near the pool on the Lido deck where they played all of the play off games when they were on. You should not have a problem catching the game at all.

We thought the same thing. .....but the Sensation had a problem Jan. 9th for the Green Bay - Minnesota playoff game. There was a problem with the satellite feed and so there was NO game. A lot of Green Bay fans went to the purser's desk complaining big time! They finally got a satellite feed late in the 4th quarter with about 5 minutes left. It wasn't a network feed though, it was raw satellite so we didn't have commercials. There were no analyzing talking heads after the game and we watched an empty stadium for about 5 minutes until the coaches were ready for interviews.

The first game was fine.

They planned on showing the game because it was listed on the Capers that you could view the playoffs in the sports bars.

So, I would say that YES they plan on showing big games during the cruise.....(They sell more alcohol that way!!!) But there are unforseen problems that could prevent it!
