Booking Shore Excursions on Line

We're on the February 5 sailing of the Spirit and have tried to book our shore excursions on line. All we can learn from the web site is that only siling after February 12 can be booked on line. This is our first Carnival cruise. Is booking shore excursions on line something new for Carnival? We've been able to book on line with HAL for years.

Does anyone have suggestions on booking shore excursions on other web sites?

Yes, this is a new program by Carnival and has just started and only those saziling after that date are able to utilize this new service. The people that handle these online boking have said that it seems like a huge success as they are getting thousands of bookings of tours now.

PS........it's still not 100% up and running, but excursions are being added/loaded daily. For example, for my upcoming summer cruise, only the golf excursions and 1 scuba excursion are listed so far (the golf ones just got added today........I check daily).

Yeas, there is a ton of tours to enter and check and re-check so please be paitient. The guys that are doing this are working many long hours.
