A group of us are set to cruise the Miracle on 4/24 and have started looking into shore trips..we've been told that theCoral Sands Resort is nice and will pick up cruisers so they can use the facilities for the day..anyone been there or know of anyone who has?
Yes, I was there in October. At that point it was quite rustic. But an option non the less. I was looking for something such as a beach day and had done Goff's on a prior cruise so this was available. It turned out to be good since it was a very hot day and there was a great breeze on the water that day. If you are looking for a white sand beach this it is not. But the staff was nice and it was relaxing. We were picked up at the pier and that process was long and seemed unorganized. But I would think that maybe now things could be more settled. This is a "resort" in it's infancy. One nice thing they were able to arrange was to return us directly to the ship. That was nice. This "resort" option is going to become a ship excursion and in October it was aready an excursion for another cruiseline, not Carnival. I can not remember which one.
My daughter and I will be on Carnival Elation in June, and for Belize, we are taking the Cave Tubing. I found on other forums that to book this shore excursion from cbelize.com and RegTours is safe and is cheaper. Carnival’s is $89.00 pp theirs is $56.00 & $65.00.
