Glory hot tubs

For those who have been on the Glory recently....

1) Are the hot tubs hot?
2) Are the pools open 24 hours?

Sound like silly questions, but when we were on the Celebration, the hot tubs were cool, not even really warm, definitely not hot. And the pool was closed and netted quite early. I got a little spoiled I guess on Princess with the 24 hour pools. I wasn't sure if the bigger Carnival ships had that or not.

Thanks!

Re: Glory hot tubs

We sailed on the Glory last Sept., the hot tubs were comfortably hot, and never seemed to be crowded. The pools however closed in the early evening maybe 6pm. The Glory is a beautiful ship I'm sure you will enjoy your cruise.

Re: Glory hot tubs

We were just on the Glory the week of 1/22 and apparently the hot tubs were not hot enough . My husband, son, and myself all caught a bacterial rash all over our bodies. The dermatologist said the probable cause was not enough chlorine and heat in the hot tubs causing a breeding ground for germs. Be careful!! We still haven't gotten rid of it and it has been over a week!

I was on the Conquest in Jan and the Hot Tubs were never hot. Not even the one INSIDE in the spa/gym. I put this as a big complaint on my comment card.

Nice One !!
Hot tubs are used for the relaxation and enjoy and In most of the places hot are used for the message therapy ,used for the removing tension and peace of mind. so we say hot tubs are the necessary in the modern life.

We always fill out the comment card but never hear back from them. Being in the PR business for over 32 years, I think if I had a large number of complaints in one area I would possible call a few people to ask some questions and then take some action. But again, maybe they do but I doubt it.

I REALLY do not like when the CD suggestthat you give the a good rating! I've seen that done in the past.

Glory Hot Tubs

The Hot Tubs in the Sky pool are the hottest on the ship. I had to ask the attendant to turn up the heat on our first sea day and I think that did the trick. On the first day on board the first thing I do is head for the Hot Tub we were on by Noon. But on this ship they did not open till 4:30 in the afternoon. Pools were open though I just hopped in a loved it. Just a warning for Past-Guests.
We were not invited to the past guest party due to a clerical error on the ship. Double check when the party is and look for your invite. It should be on Thursday night at 5 pm. If you are intersted in going for free drinks. Also free drinks on the last night at the Fun Farwell party bring some dollar bills for tips and the will set you up. Have a great Cruise. Ed
