Default Rough seas during the month of May for the E. Caribbean

Can anybody tell me if the seas are rough, during the month of May, for the E. Caribbean? I did this route several years ago, but that was during the month of March. The seas weren't really rough, but there were times you could feel the ship move a little. It seems during the winter months, the seas are a bit rougher.

We sailed twice in the E Caribbean in May and the water was great....maybe one night on both ships we got into some bumpy waters, but noting that would cause you to feel sick...just a bit jolty.

We're going in a week and are a bit concerned about the W. Carribean's waters....we've heard it's been rough lately.

You'll be fine in May though!!!!

My boyfriend and I did the W. Caribbean last Sept. and the water was great. We had no problem with rough seas.

My wife and I have sailed in May for the past 4 trips and this May will be our 5th time. Of course it helps that our anniversary is also in May. We have never had bad weather. Yes last May the first two days the seas were a little ruff but all settled down and the rest of the week was smooth.

My vote is go for it.

I've traveled in May on four occasions and only once did we have rough seas - on the way back to Miami - Most had fun - it was a deck party - and you didn't need to be drinking to be rocking.

My next cruise on the Liberty in May 2006. I love May cruises. I have sailed twice in May from Florida and the weather was wonderful. I know Mother nature will do her own thing and produce bad weather and rough seas when ever she wants.

Happy Sailing!
