Teen Activities/excursions?

We are cruising with our 13y/o daughter and would like feedback from someone that has participated in the teen activities on board. Does Carnival offer "teen excursions"? If so how are they supervised? Would appreciate any feedback.

Im not sure about the excursions but our 15 yr old daughter took part in the teen activities on both our cruises and had a great time. She still talks to people from both cruises on the internet.

Hi Lesley, We just got back from the Valor cruise Jan.23/05. There were not too many kids on-board. (I think they have to have a lot of teens before they will offer the off-ship teen excursions.) My 13 yr.old daughter did have fun at the activities she went to in the 12-14 yr.old category. There was only 2 other 13yr.old girls who went to the Camp activities consistently with her. She went to at least 1 activity /day- often in the evening. We did some Family Camp activities. My 7 yr.old went to Camp less often, but she had fun too. They both went on all excursions with us at Ports. Too much to do off the ship and then supper,some shows,-you really ran out of time!! As I said in my review:Scott from Scotland was the 12-14 Counsellor, and he was great!!

i'm 14 and i went on the victory and participated in the camp carnival programs. they are sooo much fun, i would recommend your daughter going to the information/meet and greet the first night. I never did go on any of the teen excursions....i did some of the activities that they had planned, but some of them were just to immature for teenagers.
