Do the twin beds on the Spirit come together to become a King size bed?
I mean with King size linens and all? Not just two beds brought together with separate twin linens each?
Do we need to notify the ship beforehand that we want the beds together?
Not sure about this ship but we just got off the Fantasy and the beds were put together before we got there and there were King Linens on everything....
I went with my girlfriend and we have two seperate last names but they knew..... I'm sure if it is not together just ask your steward... we had a bed problem on a previous cruise and it was taken care of with no problems...
Our Cabin Steward told my sister and I that they "adjust" the beds once they are sure how they need to be arranged for the guests. In our case they seperated the two beds, for others that may be leaving them as they are , or putting them together. Ours was "fixed" while we were at lunch or dinner, can't remember which but it was before the first night.
One minor point, on all of the ships I've been on, the beds are actually a bit smaller than a twin, so when put together, they make a queen size bed. That said, I've never splurged for the balcony/suites, so it is certainly possible that their beds would be full twins, which would combine to the be width of a standard king. The ship's website should provide the specific info about king/queen.
