holiday marina park holiday inn hotel day before cruise

Hi, anyone out there who also has stayed at the marina park holiday inn. ? It sounds like there are good places to eat lunch and dinner on sat. july 16 the day and night before our cruise on the victory leaves on the 17th. how about the trans. to the pier. anyone go by taxi, or hotel limosine and how about rates. anymore info. on the backed up lines for check out. it sounds like people were hauling all their luggage down an elevator to a back alley and around front to the lobby for check out. in the morning. what is with this situation. we have nine people including four kids. patticake

I've stayed here a couple times. You cannot beat the location. Bayside Marketplace has lots of great restaurants, besides a food court in the mall. A bandstand with live music, lots of places to have beverages, etc.

There is a coupon book you can pick up if you have the coupon from the bayside website. We used it and had lots of fun.

Taxis are readily available in front of the hotel. It is a 5 minute ride and costs around $8, you can easily fit 3 people and luggage into a regular taxi.

Checkout wasn't too bad, just go down early in the morning and get it done. We never had trouble getting the elevator to go down to the lobby. I've never seen anyone going down a back elevator.

This is the only hotel we stay at when cruising out of Miami.
