Sometimes you can pay a fee and get the name changed. Check with your travel agent. Maybe you and a friend could go.

A friend in our group had a mild heart attack the tuesday before we were leaving. ( he is doing great) Carnival told them if they sold their room they would get either their money or voucher back.. Well they sold the room, we were all in a row and we actually took pictures of the new peoples luggage sitting outside the room as proof. Carnival though seems to be honoring it. They said it would take a little while, so they are keeping their fingers crossed that all goes as promised.

Check with your travel agent or carnival to find out the details of what you have to do

There usually is a waiting list for every cruise so hopefully you can sell it. But check with your TA, Carnival or even check our Insuremytrip.com. I heard you can get trip insurance up until the day you go and some even have pre-existing conditions exclusions. I hope he feels better and you can go another time soon.

My DH isn't going to be allowed out of bed 2 weeks before the cruise! He also has a bad back (fusion surgery a year ago, blown disks above that). His doctor told him that it's best if he is up walking around. Any chance your DH will be better by then? Dancing on the tables will probably done on lower tables.
