I booked a balcony guarantee on Carnival and am now assigned a category 8F. My question is the price of the balcony guarantee is now 80 dollars cheaper than what I paid. Will Carnival give me an onboard credit for the price difference and keep me in the same cabin they already booked me in if I call in or do they not have a policy like this? I am not expecting a refund, but a credit I was just curious.
Depends on how close you are to sailing and if the rate is for new bookings only. IN addition it also might make a differance if you have booked direct or through a TA. If through a TA let them handle it as that is their job. You should be well pleased already as you have a 5 cat upgrade!
