Default question about weight limit for horsebackriding in cozumel

My husband wants to do the frontier horsebackriding in cozumel - on the web site, it states 220 weight limit. He weighs 250. Would it still be ok for him to go? How do they judge this? Thanks

No - it is not fair to the horse that would have to carry him. They will ask for your weight and you really should be honest about it.

If they have a large Horse he would be fine and so would the horse. I am in the same weight catagory, ( size big ), and have owned horses for years. A good sized horse will carry him just fine. This could be a weight loss challange.

We did the horseback riding Via Carnival in Cozumel 2 years ago.
I am 6'4" and 260 pounds...............there was no problem.

We also went horseback riding in San Juan last week.
They state a 250 pound limit.
(although the horses there are a little bigger)
