Default planning cruise very early?

Hi. I want to plan a cruise for 7 days between the dates of Dec 25 and Returning on Jan8. I am getting the vibe that it is very expensive to travel during that time. Is it best to book early (like 6-8 months) or to wait until like 4 months/
Any suggs?

book it now. That is peak travel time, all the kids are out of school and going on vacation. Yes, the rates will be higher during this period. Supply and demand. You can't wait, you won't find a cabin or airfare for that matter if you wait.

Book it as soon as possible. The prices will only rise the closer you get. You'll also take the chance of the cruise selling out.

The sooner the better! Those dates will book up and only get more expensive. We're travelling during Thanksgiving week this year, and booked our cruise about 4 months ago (about a year in advance).
