Default another silly question

hello to all. i know i have posted alot of questions about food, but my family and i love to eat-that's the hi-lite to any trip we take
so here's one more. our plane arrives in may at 10:15 pm on a thursday night. we are renting a car at the airport (orlando international) and driving to cocoa beach. we should be arriving in cocoa beach at 11 or 11:15. my questions is, are there any type of restaurants that will be open at this time that we can eat? i suspect we will be hungry. thanks in advance for any info!

I've never been to either place but most of the other places I've ever travelled I've always been able to find a Waffle House, Shoney's, Denny's or something similiar that are open all the time.

I'm sure other posters will have more info, but I'm pretty sure you can find something along the way.

We always keep granola bars, crackers, etc just in case.

Good Luck and Happy Cruising!!!

Lisa

We went recently and got in a little late to Cocoa Beach. Not quite that late, but we found a place to eat at that time.(wasn't good) You might also want to consider getting something at the airport as well. There were so many places to eat, I would think you would find something. Wish I could help you for sure.

I looked at the Waffle House website and there doesn't seem to be one. They are always good for a late night bite.

Cocoa is a Beach Town which equals Vacationers so there is always places opened..... just get on A1A and start driving till you find something opened...... they have all the norms, all the fast food chains....... don't worry!

Have fun!

Just thought of another idea... call AAA and see if they can tell you anything... I have gotten info from them and I'm not a member. I just call my local office here.

Also I know sometimes the Yellow Pages from AOL give me a city choice to check into.

Maybe a "restaurant" search for that city might offer something...

Your post title says silly question, so here's a silly answer:

Hi,

I'm sure finding a restaurant won't be a problem. Here's a link for you to try.....

Cheers!

shanenstac,
I grew up there in the 60s and go back often. Yes! There is a Waffle House and IHOP on A1A real close to the Hampton Inn. The Denny's is on Merritt Island down the Causeway. I've eaten at them all, IHOP and Waffle House last August. I ate at the IHOP around midnight in 2000 when I went back for a class reunion.

Also like the other posters said, you can also get something at the airport. When you get off the plane, you will take a monorail over to the main airport terminal, which is a mall with many fast food places. You can grab something before you get your luggage and rental car.

Enjoy!
