Hi all, I am planning my family's 2nd cruise and we hope to go on the Legend during Thanksgiving to Belize, Costa Rica and Panama? Anyone here been on this ship and/or done this itinerary? Any comments, suggestions etc would be welcome, particularly shore excursions good for 10 year old boys. We've been to Belize and just plan on snorkeling there so I'm particularly interested in Costa Rica and Panama.
Just got back from this itinerary last week and it was great, especially the 4 sea days. The Legend is a beautiful ship and the service was great. We did the Panama Canal tour, it may be long for your 10 year old….about 7 hours, but a lot of history and very interesting. In Costa Rica we went horseback riding thru the rainforest and it was great. In Belize, the wife went shopping and I went snorkelling at Rendezvous Beach. All in all a good time was had by all.
