self-debark question
We would like to try the self-debark in Miami. What are the requirements and procedures? We usually travel light, with only the carry-on allowed by the airline.
Thanks ! |
Re: self-debark question
When you vacate your cabin, take your luggage with you. There will be an announcement noting when you can leave. If you do so, the only requirement is that you be able to carry your bags.
In some ports it may be up/down steps. |

Re: self-debark question
When self-debarking, do not put your luggage out the night before. Keep it with you and plan to leave your cabin when S/D are called for, after ship clear customs, usually around 7:45 a.m. Call Carnival to ask which ports allow self-debarkation. I know that Miami and Tampa allow it. We used it in Tampa on Inspiration in January and loved it. Off ship by7:45 a.m., in car by 8:15 a.m.

Re: self-debark question
Oh and you must be able to removed all your luggage yourself and you must be U.S. Citizen and have all your customs declarations filled out..........sorry I left that part out.
