Yep, its true -- we booked a balcony on one cruise with some family who didn't have a balcony -------- waved to them WAY back in line as we passed them by. They stopped everyone and let us in. You get what you pay for I guess. Were on the boat almost 2 hours before them.
We have a gty balcony room, that dosen't give me priority does it?? We had that on the last cruise, and we waited like a heard of cattle like everyone else. My thinking is, just wait about 30-45 minutes, then leave the boat, less of a line. As I told hubby, waiting builds character.
...but then again, although the lines are extremely long, they do go by fast. I don't know if it's because everybody's excited, too busy talking about where they plan to go, or what, but by the time you know it you're on the ship.
