valor formal nights

We are going on the valor in May and are wondering when the formal nights are. Anyone been on the ship and can let me know i would appreciate it.

I just returned from Carnival Valor and loved it! See my article on CruiseMates' home page. Regarding formal nights, there are two. Some people were very, very elegant and others just a bit dressed up so anything in between is fine. There is a tux rental shop on the ship and lots of men took advantage of it. My brother wore a sports jacket, tie and slacks whereas I like to get all dolled up. Oh well.

The formal night s are on Monday and Thursday. Enjoy!!!!!

Just questioning the Monday and Thursday formal nights on the Valor. Those are two nights the ship is at ports. Are you for sure Monday and Thursday is correct? Thanks for the help.

Looks like Monday is a day at sea of us and Thursday is Grand Caymen but we depart at 530. Guess this is one of those times the late seating for dinner is good.

thats good we leave nassau @2:00 so formal works for monday and friday is a day at sea
