Anyone else going on the Inspiration April 25-30? I would love to chat with anyone else who is going. Anyone who has been on the Inspiration recently or is going before me - I'd like to hear from you, too.
Have a great time. We sailed the Inspiration last April and loved her. So much we're going again in August 2005.

Susan,
This is my fourth cruise, my boyfriend's second. We did a quick 3-day cruise to the Bahamas on the Fantasy last April just to see if he would like crusing. He loved it! This year we are doing the 5-day cruise onthe Inspiration and we can't wait!!
Toni,
I want to hear all about your trip when you get back! If you get time to post something the week after you get back - that would be cool. We leave the 25th and I'd love to hear from you before we leave. Isn't it great to have all this information from past cruisers to help plan our trips? I'll be thinking about you soaking up the sun while I'm shivering in my winter coat and mittens!
BoosterMom,
I did get your email and pictures. I started an email response to you three times yesterday to thank you, but got interrupted multiple times (at work) and didn't get to finish. Thanks so much for the pictures and especially the shopping tips. We plan to skip the tours at both ports and just roam around at our own pace. We are thinking about renting a jeep in Cayman so we can go exploring...check out the Hell post office, do some shopping and enjoy the beach. Do you know what the price is on taxi's in Cayman? I hear they run up and down the 7-mile beach area quite frequently. I wonder how easy it would be to get to the post office and back by cab? We want to be able to manage our time on the island efficiently since our stay there is brief. I assume that most of the shopping is right by the pier. Is that true? If there's a better place to shop in Cayman, I'd love to hear about it. In Cozumel, we plan to just head for the beach and camp out there most of the day. We're not into snorkeling, but more just relaxing at the beach, so we're thinking Mr. Sancho's - or maybe Chakkanab. I've read about the lizards - thanks for the picture. It would be cool to see those! I hear they just sit around at the park. Neat. We'll do some shopping in Coz as well so I appreciate the shopping tips. I'll probably email you if I have other questions. You've been very helpful, BoosterMom. Thanks!
As far as a beach in Cozumel, I would recommend Mr Sanchos. We went there last April and loved it. I have nothing to compare it to as it is the only beach I have been to in Cozumel, but it was awesome. The bathrooms and shower area were clean, which surprised me. The waiters come out to you while you are on the beach and take drink/food orders. There guacamole and salsa are awesome. Pina coladas were great too. The reason we chose this beach was because there was no charge to get in. I believe the taxi was $12 each way. There are some vendors as you walk in, but they were not pushy at all.
Toni,
I've heard a lot of good things about Mr. Sancho's. It's nice to hear that they have clean facilities and food available. The free admission is a plus! I try to cut expenses where I can. We will probably go there. Do they have chairs and overhead shelter? Is there a charge to rent them?
They had chairs and table with an overhead umbrella type thing on them free of charge. The beach was nice and clean and they had a rather large swimming area roped off. While we were in the water we saw a large sea turtle. It was really cool.
