Well I'm not to excited! It doesn't look like we are going to get to see any of New Orleans the day we arrive. Our plane is not arriving at the airport in New Orleans until 1:50pm Our travel agent is trying to get a later flight out on the day we return so that we may be able to see parts of it. I won't know that for a couple more days.
I'm kind of depressed about it! I still thank you for being so patient and for checking back to see what's going on with me!
I'm 23 days from cruising and getting very, VERY excited! (kinda nervous too)
You are going to have so much fun!! If you do get a late flight out, l think after 3pm, I would recommend taking the New Orleans City Tour with transfers to the airport. It was a 5 hour tour, 1/2 hour of travel each way, 2 hour bus tour looking at all the historical houses and cemetaries, 2 hours shopping at the French Market. I think everyone on our plane must have shopped at Cafe DuMonde and bought beignets. The whole palne smelled like a French bakery. The tour was $33/pp. Our then 16 y/o son really enjoyed it. A great way to end a wonderful cruise vacation.

I just wanted to let you know that Cotton posted on another board that she was taking a vacation from the cruise message boards for a while and going to visit her daughter for a few weeks. That's probably why she hasn't responded.
