Default Hair Dryers

Does anyone remember/know if the rooms already have hair dryers or should I bring mine?

They have them, but they are not real powerful.

Found this on Carnival's website

Do I need to pack my Hair Dryer?

A hair dryer is provided in the bathroom (Destiny, Triumph, Victory) or at the desk/vanity in the stateroom (Spirit, Pride, Legend, Conquest, Glory, Miracle, Valor). Hair dryers are not provided in the staterooms of all other ships.

if your hair is long, thick, coarse or curly, bring your own hair dryer, the ones in the staterooms are not powerful at all.

I took my own hair dryer when we cruised on the Victory (even though there are dryers in the bathroom) because I typically shower first and then dry hair/put on makeup while hubby showers. With the hair dryer being in the bathroom, it made it more difficult to dry hair my hair while my husband was using the bathroom. Might want to take your own if you're traveling with someone else.

Thanks, hschipper1, I wasn't thinking of that - we have a few getting ready, so the travel(folding) dryer we bought for last cruise will come in handy in the stateroom while others are showering.

I was on the Glory and the hairdryers are out in the desk drawer. I hated them because you have to hold the button down the entire time. It was a pain. I wish I brought my own.

If you are looking for a GREAT travel hair dryer you should look into the one from Brookstone, its a bit pricey as hairdryers go, but it is great, its small and powerfull, folds up into its own nice little bag. I have the Ion one.
