The long gone Festivale is my favorite ship. It was my first cruise 1983, and I got hooked on cruising on that ship.
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.“
We really enjoyed the Triumph. Partly because this was a sailing just a couple weeks after 911. We were up graded to a mini suite that we REALLY enjoyed (Whirlpool tub in the room!) But it was a very pretty ship, great service and easy to get from place to place. We'd like to go back on her some day. Also enjoyed Celebration - even if it is a bit smaller!
Make your dream cruise come true!!
The Pride was our first Carnival cruise, 2nd the Legend both wonderful cruises as far as the ship decor the Pride was our number one. Our next cruise is on the Liberty in November it might surpass the Pride? counting the days to go cruising under the moonlight.
We used to LOVE the Paradise and would ALWAYS check out their itinerary first because of the fresh & unique non-smoking atmosphere. Alas, Carnival is now like any other cruiseline so we're trying other ones now....
8/92 Mex. Riv. Commodore
9/98, 9/00, 9/02 & 7/04 Caribbean - Paradise
10/00, 08/05 Pac. Wtrs. Holiday, Monarch
04/06 Hawaii - Celebrity Summit
09/07 Alaska - Celebrity Summit

Destiny gets my vote followed by the Conquest. The iteneray is great and the Cruise was wonderful. It was my first cruise. The Destiny is a little smaller than the Conquest so it was easier to get around on. But as long as the ship says Carnival and I'm on it it will be a super cruise.
Pride of America
Im going on my 2nd Carnival cruise in April on the Legend, Im excited, the decor looks a bit loud but who cares Im on a cruise!!! My first cruise was on the Mardi gras, I had a great time but vowed never to go on another inside cabin, I like to wake to sun light, not fluorescent,so this time I have a window, maybe next time a balcony!
The Pride gets my #1 vote and the rest of our cruises in the following order Conquest, Inspiration, Celebration. Leaving on the Elation on 4/10/05 I can let you know where we rank that one when we return! Ricky
Hello all I will say the Sensation is the one I love been on it several times and have had a blast. I think the Mega liners dont provide the same service that the smaller boats do.
And windycity kitty the Legend is a wild boat had a lot of fun on it keep a map with you on the boat so you can find all of the fun spots. JD NJ

having been on the sensation and fascination, im now about to embark on the Victory...i hope i like as much as the other two. JD, you got me worried now! lol By the way, do you hold the record around here for the most cruises? thats quite an impressive list you got going there. happy sailing
So far, the Victory is my favorite....sailing on the Valor in May so may change my mind. Bigger is not always better, the Pride was my least favorite ship, hard to get around and just too darn big. I've sailed on the Imagination (an older Carnival ship) and just loved it.
