We are taking Carnival victory in sept with our then 22 month old toddler. Just wondering as we are new to CARNIVAL...........what to expect & what not to?
Also we have a inside room & have requested a 3rd bed for our son, shd a crib be enough for him or are they too small? What abt food on the ship for kids? Do they have food in the dining room for kids this age?Do you get Homo milk for them as well?
Do they have a kids-menu?What other things shd we keep in mind ?Plz help...............!!!
I was on the Victory 1-30 with my 2yo granddaughter. Toddlers are not allowed in the pools if they are not potty trained. There is a kiddy pool on the Sun Deck forward for toddlers to use and plenty of chairs for adults. One deck above is entrance to the water slide and one deck below is the Lido Deck and poolside entertainment.
There will be enough room in the cabin for the crib, have cabin attendant push the twin bed together to make a queen.
Milk was available in buffet and dining rooms. The milk in the buffet is out each morning but not for other meal times. They store the milk at a dessert island in the underside cabinets. Just help yourself. Extra milk we brought back to the room and placed in ice bucket.
There is a children's menu in the main dining room--chicken strips, mac&cheese, fruit, cheeseburgers.
Highchairs are plentiful in the main dining room but only a few in the buffet area.
The staff treated our gd like a princess.
They have a kids menu, no problems there. You can order off the kids menu in the dining room for dinner. A crib (I think they use like a pack &play) will work fine. You may want to leave the two Beds in an L formation and put the crib in the junction of the two beds. Toodler food will be plentiful in the buffets or in the dining room. They have homo milk available in the little cartons as well as chocolate. There is group babysitting available for a fee $6.00 an hour on port days until noon and at night from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. Take an umbrella stroller, use it at check in and check out at the pier...you'll get through the lines faster, because they really try hard to keep the little ones in a good mood and move them along quickly so they don't get fussy and start screaming lol! Take favorite snacks and blanket. Hmmm I think thats it. Make sure your TA or PVP has requested a crib and not a triple room. Otherwise you and your d/h will be sleeping on an upper berth so kiddo can sleep lower to the ground. Hmmm I think thats it. Oh and don't forget to take lots of pictures and have fun!
