Default Dining Room w/ Large Group

We have about 40 people sailing on 4/17/05 on the Victory. About 30 of us have late dining. How do we go about sitting all in the same area. Many of us used different travel agents. Is there a way to call or fax a request to the maitre D ahead of time.

Ask your travel agent if there is a way to link all of the reservations, even though you used different agencies. She/he should know or be able to find out. If not possible, have him/her ask Carnival if there's anything you can do pre-cruise (Carnival won't talk to you if you've gone through a TA).

Lastly, if nothing can be done pre-cruise, have everyone (or a representative of each family/couple) meet as soon as you're on board and go to the maitre'd to see if anything can be done. Hopefully, since you requested late dining and are sailing off-season, there will be tables available.

As long as you get everyone's Carnival booking #, the TAs should easily be able to cross reference all the reservations.. to be treated similarly to a group booking for table assignments.

exactly what Kuki said, get everyone's Carnival booking # - get it to your TA and she/he can make the table reservations.

An additional thought for your group--A group sailing I did on the Victory in 2004 with a total of 29 people; we pre-paid our gratuities which allowed us to change tables at will.in the area we were in. We shared the same booking number and seating time--early.
