Default alaska in September

Can anyone tell me how alaska is in September? We are booked for the first time in September (14th)....any suggestions at all? What to wear? What to do? What not to do? I know you say book the one way trip, but we have the round trip from Vancouver to Vancouver -- and not knowing the difference, I guess it is a matter of opinion. Any suggestions at all from anyone? You rarely hear anything on Alaska on this board. Thanks in advance!!!! cheryl Oh, we have a return flight that leaves at 1pm......please tell me I'll have time to get there to the plane! ????

It'll probably be in the 50s. Be prepared for rain. It may not occur....but rain/drizzles often occur on Alaskan vacations. Regardless of the time. If you trip takes you to Juneau, do your best to see Mendenhall Glacier. I landed on the glacier in a helecopter.

1pm....there should be no problems with catching your flight.

It won't "come down in buckets." But, on at least one day of your cruise, you will most probably need/want an umbrella/haur covering.
