Weather in late Nov. for Catalina and Ensenata

Just wondering about the weather in Nov. We're thinking about taking a cruise in Nov. of 2006 with our kids on the Paradise and wondering what can we expect as far as the weather is concerned?? I'm from Cal. originally and have known weather to be almost perfect at that time of year or can be extremely cold and stormy. as most know, Southern California weather is unperdictable. I know one thing though it will be better than weather in utah.
