Thanks to all who have helped this first time cruiser. I have one more question and I think I'll be set for our 8/20 sailing. We'll have 3 teens ages 19,16 and 13. I know the 19 year old will be too old for regular teen "camp", but will there be any organized activities for his age group or activities where he can meet others his age? For the other two, can anyone tell me the types of daytime activities they offer when at sea? Do they have to be specifically signed up for the "Camp" program? I'm thinking they will not be inclined to do this because they'll think its too childish. Are there other things planned for teens? I'm not worried about nigttime activities or when we are in port, but just wondering if they'll be bored on the at sea days. Thanks for your help in advance.
We sailed on the Glory in September. Go to sign up your teen for the activities. If you sign up, you will get a newsletter that lists the activites for the week. You don't have to commit to going to the teen events, but you will know where and when they are happening. Since the teens tend to accompany their parents to this sign-up, they will have a chance to "check out" the other teens as well.
My teen didn't go to many of the events, but the few he went to he enjoyed and he did manage to meet a few folks to hang out with, even though we went in September and there weren't many kids on board.
