excursions on line

I am trying to book our excursions on line. We don't cruise until Jan. 06, but I don't want to miss out on the one excursion we have wanted for the last year.
We have paid our deposit, but I cannot book our excursions. The website says all we have to have done is paid out deposit. Does that mean we have to be paid in full, or are we still too far out to book the excursion? Any help would be appreciated.

Usually you can't begin to book shore excursion until about 6 months prior to departure.

I was were you are now last year. We don't cruise till Aug and already i can't stand myself .
My excursions are just beginning to come online. Have patience and you'll get there.
Will this be your first cruise?? we're cruising in Aug for the very first time and we're already planning our next one--mostlikely in Oct. of 2006 and we'll take our kids on that one.

No, this will be our third cruise, the second on the Elation. I am a teacher and it is getting close to the end of the year, so vacation is sounding very very good.
