I am trying the Kelly method in locating our cabins. When you put in the stateroom numbers, are they listed like this.......m111, m112, r1, u23 and so on? On the Holiday, the decks are Riviera, Main, Upper, Empress, Verandah. Am I doing it right? Why can't you get a picture of all the rooms on the decks? We booked the cheapest garanty which I assume is a 4a on the Riviera deck, but the deck plans don't specify 4a,b or c, just whether it is inside or outside and that's plain to see. Even I can see that!
The a,b,c after the number signifies the level. What I mean is . . . a 4a would be on the Riveria level while a 4b would be a level above (like Main) and a 4c would be even a higher level than that (like Upper). It has nothing to do with the type of room . . . just the level of location. The higher up the larger the letter.
I hope that makes sense!! It's kinda like clear mud!!!! Ha! Ha!
If you look in a Carnival brochure, the website or several other websites that offer deck plans, you will see that the rooms are color coded. Each category has it's own color (4A, 4B, 4C, etc.). Makes it easy to see what room is where.
