Default 8D compared to 8A

We had a 8D cabin when we were on the Carnival Pride, I know the Pride and the Spirit are sister ships. Does any one have info on a cat 8A room? Just wondering if the lifeboats are in the way. Thanks for any info.
Have a great cruise all!!

It's pretty much the same cabin. Just on a lower deck. There shouldn't be an "obstructed view".

Exact same cabin, just on a higher deck. If you can get a 8C,E,G,I. Those have the extended balcony and are considerably larger.

Just curious. How do you know what class you are booked in? All I have is our cabin # and Deck? when we reserved we did OV Gurantee.

Look it up in the brochure. If you don't have one, tell me what cabin it is and I will let you know.

PR7496,
You can go to any travel agent's office and get a brochure. There's a lot of important and interesting info. in there besides the cabin location. In my experience (with AAA) they won't even ask if you want to book a cruise, although (IMO) there are advantages to using a good TA. Or you can go to the Carnival web-site and request a brochure.
Have a great cruise!
