Parking at Mobile

We will be leaving in July on the Holiday out of Mobile. My question is how much is parking I read somewhere that it is $7.00 per day and if I go on a 5 day cruise I will have to pay for 6 days of parking is that correct? Does anyone know if the $7.00 per day is the correct amount. I am trying to decide to go down the day before, I did that last year, but this year I can't get off the day before because my boss is out of town, so it would be late when we got to Mobile, so I was wondering if it was worth the effort to go down early since we will not get there till really late.

We just got back from a cruise on the Holiday from Mobile. Parking was $40 total. Left out on Thursday and got back today (Monday). HTH.

Hi Terry,
We are going on the Holiday in July. The 25th to be exact. Is that when you are going? I had the same question too.

Parking is $10 per day payable when you enter the lot. Most of the parking is in a covered garage, except for the top floor. I've sailed out of Mobile twice on Holiday and had no complaints about parking or embarkation.

5 night cruise will cost you $50.00, payable when you get there. Do not wait until the last minute to get to the garage. It fills up fast and we ended up on the top deck which is not covered. Be prepared to tip the porters, as soon as you pull in they are there to handle your bags. The whole embarkation process is the smoothest we have experienced among 5 different ports. Enjoy yourselves.

Thanks for the parking tips. Does anyone have a Hotel recommendation for the night before we leave on our June 6th cruise on the Holiday?
