I'm considering a Jan. 06 cruise on the Glory. I love sushi. Is this a specialty place where there is a service charge?

No, it's offered pre-dinner for free usually around 5-6, and it's really good. My record was 16 rolls at one sitting.

We love it too - usually every night from around 5-8pm it is offered and done in front of you. Due to safety I have to warn you it is all cooked - smoked etc.... No raw stuff. Very good though! Debbie

On the Inspiration in Jan., the sushi bar opened around 4:00 p.m. but then they have to set up everything. No charge. My first attempt at eating sushi and I've loved it since. It was nice to go up there before dinner, get a drink, some sushi and relax. Hubby didn't like it, but always made really good friends with the waiter who made sure he was never "beer-free"!!! Loved it! If you are a newbie to sushi, it's a great time to try it because there isn't anything raw. The California rolls are my favorite.

I think all the ships do. I know we had it on the Jubilee and Calebration before (sister ships to the Holiday) so I'm sure the Holiday has it too. On those ships it was set up in the area outside the casino by where there are tables along the windows. It is really good - on an Elation cruise out of LA 4 years ago another couple we met on board had us meet them there - we said fine but we are not eating it!!! They had a plate made for us and had us try it and we have loved it ever since! Debbie

The sushi bar is open nightly prior to the dinner hours. Saki is available at a nominal cost.

Applicable ships: Fascination, Inspiration, Ecstasy, Elation, Paradise, Fantasy, Jubilee, Celebration, Conquest, Glory, Imagination, Valor

Sushi is served for lunch at the Asian counter in the Lido Restaurant, but not nightly prior to the dinner hours. Applicable ships: Destiny, Triumph, Victory, Spirit, Pride, Legend, Miracle
