I KNOW there are a bunch of cruisemates booked on this sailing of the Liberty from Rome to Ft. Lauderdale in Oct. (because many of you are booked in the CruiseMates group).

But.. you are being awfully quiet! <G> Just over 5 months to go... time to get EXCITED!!

I'm looking for airfare to Rome. Has anyone found any good deals or web sites for airfare?

Now that I have a closing date and we are zeroing in on our move to Florida, I'll have time to get excited about cruising again. Moving has definitely taken up all of my attention lately. Believe me I'm ready to go.

Divas.....Have definitely found good airfare from Fort Lauderdale to Rome and Linda Griggs got decent prices from Fayetteville, NC. Where are you from. E-mail me and I will give you the info. Where are you staying?

We did the Sledge Ride in Maderia, was quite fun. You might want to look into it. You ride up a sky lift and get to see the whole countryside and then come back down in a wooden sled like thing with runners that they slide down the winding streets of the town. It was quite different.

Paul, packing will just have to wait a while in this house. I don't really like that word at all these days. Perhaps in a month or two.....

we are on also, cruisin paige and cruisin tom, we found our air on sidestep.com, going aer lingus ,,jfk to rome on the 21st of october is running 375.00 pp. not to bad, its via dublin ireland, might as well make a stop for a pint of guiness at 6am ...if you need more info about this flight e-mail me....we also have another couple from michagan thats on this flight with us also.

Hi Paige, good to see you posting over here on the CM's boards too. We got our air from Sidestep also and flying from FLL to Cinncinati to Rome. Didn't quite meet you price but it wasn't much more. Think without looking about $425. Flying Delta all the way. We fly out on the 20th arrive in Rome on the 21st.

I'm still searching for air. I know that I need to make a decision soon. Notice an increase in air prices to Rome.

I know that when we were looking for air, we were finding better fares out of NYC. Perhaps you are close enough to drive up there. Keep us posted when you make the reservations.

I booked my airfare today thru 1800flyeurope. We leave on Oct 19 from Baltimore to Rome on US Air.

Glad you finally found flights. Wow you are arriving in Rome early. We don't leave till the 20th and will arrive the 21st. Do you have plans for your stay in Rome?

There are many things that I want to see in Rome and maybe a day in Florence. I'm going to spend next month planning my must see places.
