june cave tubing in belize question

What is the river stages like in June for the cave tubing excursion? Is my butt gonna be draggin the bottom? Or is the water at a good level? Does anyone know??

I've been wondering the same thing. I'll be on Valor 12 and am going with Wet N Wild. I've heard that June starts the rainy season...hope it's eonugh rain to raise the water level but not enough to ruin our day!!

I looked under Belize weather and according to the computer only....June is one of the high months for rain - so, if it rains (which it is right now) it should be good. I hope.

Cheryl, as you know we just did the cave tubing in April and we were told by the guides that during the rainy seasons that the water does increase some. We did drag bottom in some places, but if you do this tour through Carnival there should be 2 guides for your tour. While on the tour 1 guide will lead and the second guide will follow the last person to make sure no one gets left behind. The guide leading let us know everytime it was getting shallow. He would say BUTTS UP! IF you happen to hit hard enough the first time you will be ready to put your butt up on the next. All said you'll have a great time. Ricky

We did the tubing trip back in late April, too. Water was a bit low in a couple of places but we had a blast. I'd do it again.
