Default Recommend tours for San Juan, St. Thomas and St. Marteen

We are going on the Victory 7/24 and have some ideas of what we would like to do, but would like to hear your opinions!!

Has anyone done the nighttime Barcardi tour in San Juan?
The Screamin Eagle or Mini-power boats in St. Thomas?

Any ideas or recommendations would be great-- thanks!!

Depends on what you would like to do while you are there. I arranged for my family to go via email on Godfrey's tour in St. Thomas. The open air van was there at the cruise terminal to pick us up. The tour guide was pleasant, and we all enjoyed our tour. We went shopping, then on a guided tour of the island, and last to the beach, then the guide took us back to the ship. The tour took a few hours and the price was cheap.

Remember to wear a watch and set it by the ships time so you do not get left on the island(s).

Does anyone know exactly when "Hurricane Season" ends. We are thinking of cruising out of San Juan, Puerto Rico for one week and spending another week on the Island of Puerto Rico. We want to do all this right after Thanksgiving, specifically the weekend after.

Veronica you should be fine. I don't know the official dates but hurricane season is from July to November, most activity being in late August into September.

JennieR - we haven't done any of those tours personally so i can't comment. We don't do a tour in St. Thomas- have been there numerous times and know how to get around. We do the beach in the morning, then we come back to the ship, shower, change grab a bite to eat then head into town to shop. We personally prefer the beaches over on St. John Island and we like to shop downtown as opposed to Havensight Mall. You should try to take in the Paradise Point Tramway - the view of the harbor from the top is breathtaking.
In St. Maarten we did the Golden Eagle Catamaran sail- would highly recommend this tour and would do it again in a second- you sail on this 90' yacht up the coast which is gorgeous sail, over to the island of Tintamar which is a nature preserve you can swim, snorkel (they feed the fish- so they are abundant), lay on the beach, go for a walk, the ship provides sandwiches and drinks. Its really fun and relaxing at the same time.. Do the morning tour that way when you get back you can go to the ship, shower, change , grab a bite to eat and then grab the water taxi - its really cheap like $5 for a full day round-trip pass, go into town and shop.
San Juan - things to do during the day - El Yunge Rainforest, take a walk around Old San Juan, visit fort El Morro, hit the beach.

St. Thomas: Champagne and Snorkel Tour - excellent.
St. Maarten: Divi Little Bay Beach Experience - excellent

Those are my 2 recommendations.

I highly recommend Americas Cup Challenge in St Maarten if you enjoy sailing or ever wondered what it was like.

Yes, when you get off in SanJuan, go across the street to the Wyndam and get hammered and gamble. Do the same in Sint Maartin at the Diamond casino. You are almost assured to come back very wealthy, same at St. Thomas, go to the crew center across the street and play one of the 8 new video poker machines.
