Hi -- can you tell me what they do at the rodeo show in Merida? I have a child who is definitely an animal activist and want to make sure they don't harm, harass, etc the animals at the show. I wouldn't want to see that either. I have never been to a rodeo - but I hear it is fun???? Anyone can tell me what they do? Only 2 days and counting hours now!

Hi ,we went to the rodeo in late April on the Elation' ,very nice, They roped horses, did tricks with their lasso's.did authentic Mexican dancing, had live music. At the end they had a tequila shot contest. ok for kids [except the tequila of course] At the end I got to sit on one of the horses! I'm 40 something. Animals were treated fine . Go, enjoy
