Has anyone volunteered to be a live model for makeup demonst

Hello everyone!

Just wondering if anyone has volunteered to be a live model for makeup demonstrations?

I would love to do this!!!!

I heard that the spa and makeup team use live models.... Is this true??

Thanks!

I got to be a model for the facial. It was wonderful. We were just up in the spa area looking at the flyers of available services and I was asked.

Live models? As opposed to what, dead ones?

Hi Wisegirl
Of course not dead ones, that was silly, as opposed to just samples, swatches and the like. I read in other posts that a guest could volunteer to be a "Live Model" for make-up and Hair demos, probably meaning you'd get fairly accurate and timely feedback as to the demo, also as opposed to a Carnival employee. In Med School we do gross anatomy, those wouldn't be "live" either.

I, too, have been gotten a free facial for being the model. Actually did it twice. The first time a couple of the spa staff stopped me at the elevators and asked me if I would be interested, the second time, I was booking my appt for hair (within an hour of being on board) and they asked if I would be interested. It takes about 2 hrs, but to get a free $90 facial is worth it. I fell asleep both times, it was so relaxing. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

I am planning on asking to do this when I board. We are going to the pier first thing because I want to be on the boat to make my spa reservations first and be able to request my preferred table for dinner. I hope they allow me to do it.
