Discounts on cruises, upgrades, per cabin allowances, repeat customer party on board, newsletter etc.

We are supposedly members of the skippers club, we had a suite, and at NORFOK
Va no such facility, ans we were told to get into line like very body else and wait 1.5 hrs, so dopnt plan of the "SKIPPERS CLUB" Carnival's people said so, there is the line never heard of the SKIPPERS CLUB

We just used the Skipper's Club in Long Beach. Most questions can be answered by reading Carnival's website. Directly from Carnival's own website...Skipper's Club is ONLY available at the following ports:

Miami
Port Canaveral
New Orleans
Galveston
Tampa
Long Beach
Fort Lauderdale
San Juan
New York

Skipper's Club is basically expidited check in and escort to your cabin. You only get it if you are booked in a Cat 11 or Cat 12, or in my case, have my Cat 1A Gty linked to my parent's Cat 11 suite reservation in Sept. Once they find out that it is just me in the Cat 1A and traveling with my parents, they let it slide. It does not work with more than one person, I had an inside cabin with best friend on a cruise with my parents, who had a Cat 12, they made Beth and me stand in line....

The following does not include all ports. I recently sailed on the Celebration out of Jacksonville in a Cat 12. They have a fairly nice (granted small but for only 10 suites I guess they don't think they'll have that many people at each sailing) room for suite passengers with desk, couch, chairs, coffee table. So . . . I guess what I'm saying is . . . they must be expanding their appointed ports but not updating their website.

Add Vancouver to that list. I have already confirmed that at least 3 times with my TA and CCL.

You get a special line, (after security in NY), and that's it. Does not mean you'll get on the ship any faster if the conditions aren't right.

Vancouver is confirmed, but US customs was so slow it wasn't necessary. No one was waiting after customs.

Papa Bill, Skippers Club is for suite passengers, not past guests. You get the past guest party only if you are a past guest. Skippers club suite passengers do not get any discounts, allowances or upgrades. Priority embarkation is the only perk for suite passengers.
