Default Breakfast?

So does Carnival offer the same food for breakfast at the buffet as it does in the dining room? Or is the menu different? Do more people choose the buffet? What about room service? Same menu, just limited?

We were on the Conquest in 2003.... Breakfast depends on what you want... We did the dining room a couple of times & you can order you eggs the way you want them & be waited on at the same time, the food is different than the buffets (better).........You can also order room service (very fast) but menu is limited (be sure to tip)......... Then you have the buffet, the lines are long depending on what time you go.... I don't eat bacon, sauage & not a big breakfast eater so I went to the small fresh fruit & danish island next to the bufet, no long lines & it is good for you........ Eat every 2 hours (small amounts) & you won't gain any weight !!!!!... Bob & Kathy

The buffet does offer made to order eggs and omlettes and each day and a different grill item of either pancakes, waffles or frrench toast. However, the dine room has things NOT available at the buffet. Only dine room items include Lox and cream cheese, smoked whitefish, eggs benedict. The buffet does offer grapefruit and orange sections. Try both and see what you prefer.

The room service menu consists mainly of cold breakfast items (excluding coffee & tea), i.e., pastries, croissants, cereal....no eggs, bacon, ham, etc.

Bob M,
Its always good to see another cruisemate here from Mississippi ! We're from Pearl, Mississippi, ( just east of Jackson ) We're just 3 hours from N. O. which it makes it so convenant to cruise out of . Just wish they would start a Eastern Carribean cruise from N. O.
Happy cruising, and congrats on your upcoming cruise on the Conquest. We sailed on her in Aug. 2003 for our 25'th wedding anv. She's a grand ship for sure ! Happy sailing and wishing you clear skies and smooth seas !

Wsindel ,
I would give both a try ! The buffet is good, and the omlettes are wonderful ! If you get there around 7 am or 7.30, the line is not to bad. But if you wait till 8.30 - 9.00, you got a line !
I like the dining room too because its not near as crowded, and theres no line to deal with. Either way, you've got good food, and great service !

happy cruising;
david
