no ships in gulf

I just heard from a friend who said that the New Orleans ships are not going back to N.O and are dropping everyone off in Galveston - cruise cut short I guess. My heart goes out to those who had cruises cut short or cancelled! I hope everyone stays safe!

well the sensation is in new orleans right now and has been there all day check the webcam

I just called CCL, here is what they said: Conquest skipped Cayman Island stop went straight to Cozumel, should arrive there at 8pm tonight. It might return early into New Orleans, they did not know yet. Sensation-no word at to why the ship is still docked, but you have to figure, they would move the ship out of the MS River.

the sensation just left i remimber last year that the cost gard would not let any ships into the river when the hurrican came close

The Sensation has departed New Orleans, 1 hour late, but it is on the move.

I'm supposed to leave NO on the Sensation this Monday. My guess is that she will sail but does anyone have any guess as to what the weather will be like near Cozumel.

I'm hoping that enough time will have passed and everything will be sunny. What does everyone think....I have no experience with this kind of thing.

Also....what's the webcam address?

Good, I'm glad -- I guess my friend was wrong! I'm glad as that is extremely disappointing! By this weekend you should know if the ships are leaving. It depends on where this hurricane goes. It is suppose to go up the panhandle, but you NEVER know with these hurricanes (Andrew exprience first hand...along with Lily too!) The islands should be nice weather by then! I hope all goes well. Please let us know!
