Be forewarned. The San Diego cruise terminal is very small. It really can only handle 2 ships at once, and when that happens, one ship uses a big tent for check-in and debarkation. But on October 23rd, for the first time, 4 ships will be in port. Carnival Spirit, Radiance, Infinity and Crystal Harmony. Be prepared for longer than normal waits. See the story below.
Excellent advice! We went thru that tent ordeal one time on the Spirit. We had to go the Community Concourse first, then back to the tent to wait in another line (and this was before 9/11).
Ugh!
