We NEED a handicapped cabin on the Valor. We were assigned the cabin # 6207. This is as far forward as you can go on Deck 6. Just wondering if anyone has sailed in this cabin. We have never been that far forward before and just wonder what to expect. I'm sure we will feel more motion but wondered how well you can see around on the balcony. And if there was anything different about being that far forward. Maybe we will get to see dolphins this time since we are in the front of the ship! Pictures or review of this cabin will be appreciated.
The Conquest-Class have plexiglass blaconies instead of railings. As far as I can remember, it's kind of a smokey color.
The ship is so large that unless you're in the middle of some very rough seas, you shouldn't feel much motion. I don't know when you're cruising, but with the exception of a hurricane (during which you wouldn't want to be out on the balcony anyway), the Caribbean is pretty smooth.
I know you don't feel much motion unless it's rough seas, but I always thought you could feel more motion when you're forward. Don't know why after all the cruises I've been on I'm concerned about this one! It's just that we have almost always been mid ship.
